Another day. A few more songs. Isn't it funny how sometimes the older influences that we keep locked away will surface as if to say "remember me"? After all, isn't who & what we are today a result of who & what we were yesterday? To many times we limit ourselves to a particular genre. It's sad when that happens because we deny ourselves the true artistic expression that lives within us all. It's not a matter of figuring out where we are on the genre ladder and then locking the box. It should be a matter of letting what is inside of us flow where ever it chooses to go. This, my friends, is the true essence of musical expression.
